What PA does

PA is a meeting preparation assistant built by Kenobi. It connects to your Slack workspace, Google Calendar, and optionally a CRM (Notion, HubSpot, or Attio) to generate briefings before your meetings.

Data we access

  • Google Calendar — read-only access to upcoming events (titles, attendees, times). We request calendar.readonly and never modify your calendar.
  • Slack — PA searches messages and channels relevant to your upcoming meetings. Bot access is limited to sending DMs and reading user profiles. User-token access is scoped to search.
  • CRM — if connected, PA reads company and contact records to enrich briefings. Access is read-only.

Data we store

  • OAuth tokens required to access the services above on your behalf. Tokens are encrypted at the application level (AES-256-GCM) before being written to the database, in addition to infrastructure-level encryption at rest.
  • Your Slack workspace ID, team name, and Slack user ID for routing messages.
  • Your Clerk user ID for authentication.
  • CRM field mapping configuration you select during setup.
  • A generated summary of your company based on publicly available information (e.g. your company website), used to provide context in meeting briefings.
  • Google Calendar event IDs (not event content) to avoid sending duplicate briefings.

We do not store your calendar event details, Slack messages, or CRM records. This data is fetched in real time when generating a briefing and is not persisted.

Third-party services

  • Anthropic (Claude) — meeting context is sent to Claude to generate briefings. Anthropic does not use API inputs for training.
  • Clerk — handles user authentication.
  • Mixpanel — collects anonymized usage analytics (e.g. feature usage counts, onboarding progress) to help us improve the product. No personally identifiable information is sent to Mixpanel.
  • Neon — hosts our PostgreSQL database.
  • Vercel — hosts the application.

Data retention

OAuth tokens are retained while your account is active. If you uninstall PA from Slack, we delete your workspace and user records. You can also revoke access at any time from your Google, Slack, or CRM account settings.

Your rights

You can request a copy of your stored data or ask us to delete it by emailing support@kenobi.ai.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the PA Slack bot or email.
